What We Can Expect to Come Next, Now That the Great Tribulation Has Ended

Now that the end of the great tribulation foretold in Daniel 12 and Matthew 24 for thousands of years has ended, it becomes quite pertinent to ask ourselves, what can we expect next and roughly when? This article seeks to provide clear and concise answers to this vitally important question for all of humanity right now.

The operating assumption and premise for this explanation is that the KJV of the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God to all of mankind. The Bible teaches us that unless we are blessed to be born again with God’s Holy Spirit living in us, that this supernatural book is largely unintelligible and quite confusing to us. Thus, only those who are born again in God’s Holy Spirit are truly capable of understanding and placing their trust in the promises which Bible prophecy makes to those of us who number among God’s elect. Our election is revealed by whether or not we are born again in the Spirit. 1 John 4:2-3 reveals how we can test to discern whether a person is truly born again in the Spirit or not:

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God (Eloah): Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ (Yahushua the Messiah) is come in the flesh is of God (Eloah): And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ (Yahushua the Messiah) is come in the flesh is not of God (Eloah): and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

What this means is that if a person can freely confess or make a specific statement of fact that he or she believes that Yahushua or Jesus the Christ, the son of God, was born of a virgin, lived on earth, was crucified and died on the cross, paid the price for our sins, was raised by YHWH or God on the third day and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father today in heaven, that we can be reasonably certain that that person is truly born again in God’s Holy Spirit. This is important to know because most people professing themselves to be Christians today are not, as proven by the fact that they cannot speak such a confession in their own words unaided by others. Anyone who is not truly born again will argue with you endlessly about what the Bible both says and means, but they will always be wrong and contradict what Scripture both says and clearly means and how it applies to our lives. Such arguments go nowhere and are not the least bit helpful to anyone. This testing the spirits is a way to put a quick end to such fruitless arguments.

In a similar vein, if I teach you anything that is contradicted by Scripture, as properly understood by a Spirit-led follower of Yahushua, you can be confident that I am not trustworthy and not worthy of your paying attention to anything I may say or teach. Thus, your first line of defense of the objective truth is to go to the KJV of the Bible yourself and check everything I am teaching here against the infallible and inspired words of God. If you do not take responsibility for discerning the truth of God’s word for yourself, you have no one to blame but yourself. You are not off the hook if some wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing pastor teaches you lies and deceives you. So I am urging you to go check everything I teach against the entirety of what the Bible says and clearly means.

This means you are going to have to put out some effort to read the Bible and know reasonably well what it says in its entirety for yourself. Until you achieve this level of knowledge of God’s word, you are spiritually handicapped and vulnerable to being easily deceived. This doesn’t let me off the hook if I knowingly deceive you, which I would never do, but you must not take my word for anything until you have repeatedly tested my teachings against the entirety of what the Bible says and clearly means to those who are truly born again in God’s Holy Spirit.

That having been said, what does the Bible tell us are those end times Bible prophecies which come next and in what order and with what approximate timing relative to now?

As I have taught and explained extensively, particularly at the end of Chapter 9 of my first book, Matthew 24:15-28 describes the era of the great tribulation which came to its end on October 2, 2016. Most people in our culture look at me like deer caught in the headlights when I explain this to them. They have no clue what the Bible says on this matter or on its significance to their lives personally in the very near future. Their clueless looks tell me what I am dealing with: a person who is of the non-elect who has already been sent strong delusion by God in perfect fulfillment of the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. They are lost, heading for hell and I cannot help them.

Many self-professing Christians have been taught the lie of a pre-tribulation rapture in which all believers will be caught up or seized forcefully by Christ before any tribulation or troubles come their way. I’ve got news for you: if you believe that the KJV of the Bible teaches a pre-trib rapture, you are dead wrong and have been badly deceived by liars and charlatans. I can say this with absolute confidence because nowhere does the English KJV of the Bible even employ the word “rapture,” nowhere does it teach a pre-trib gathering and in fact it directly contradicts such a notion in the words of Matthew 24:29-31. Here’s what that passage says:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man (Yahushua or Christ) in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man (Yahushua or Christ) coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Boldface added for emphasis; parentheticals added for clarity)

Thus, we can see from the sections of this passage that I have highlighted in boldface that the sequence of events relative to one another are as follows: 1) first, the tribulation comes to its end, 2) second, the four celestial events described in Matthew 24:29 occur, 3) third, the sign of the Son of man (Christ) will appear in heaven, and 4) fourth, Christ returns in the clouds with power and great glory and gathers the resurrected elect to Himself in the clouds. The burden of proof falls on anyone promoting the lie of a pre-trib rapture to explain how these words say anything other than what I have just described. They cannot. Because it never says such a thing! Thus these con artists and charlatans have added to the words of the Bible and are proven liars. Proverbs 30:5-6, Revelation 21:8 and 22:18 reveal what will soon happen to anyone guilty of promoting the fraud of a pre-tribulation rapture:

Every word of God (Eloah) is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:5-6 (Boldface added for emphasis)

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8 (Boldface added for emphasis)

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God (Eloah) shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:” Revelation 22:18 (Boldface added for emphasis)

A simple reading of the words I have highlighted in boldface here reveal that anyone promoting the lie of a pre-trib rapture is heading to a horrible end very soon. Moreover, I have proven in innumerable ways that the great tribulation is now over. No denial of the objective truth will change this reality one iota. We all know that all con artists, when caught in their con jobs, will deny, deny and deny the obvious some more. They are proven liars. Why would anyone be foolish and gullible enough to believe their denials, which are clearly just further lies? The fact that they may be seminary-trained pastors makes no difference. A proven liar has no truth in him and should never be trusted ever again. Given that the great tribulation is now over, the pre-trib rapture notion has been proven to be nothing more than a bald-faced lie from multiple perspectives: both by by what God’s word says and by what has already happened in our world today.

There are three other pertinent passages in the Bible that describe the events that are described in Matthew 24:29-31 that are important to examine to get as complete and as accurate an understanding of these imminent events as we possibly can. Here they are:

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (followers of Yahushua who have died), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope (those who are of the non-elect). For if we believe that Jesus (Yahushua) died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus (are dead, but believed in Yahushua when they were living) will God (Eloah) bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord (our Adon), that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (our Adon) shall not prevent them which are asleep (have died). For the Lord (our Adon) himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God (Eloah): and the dead in Christ (the Messiah) shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord (our Adon) in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (our Adon). 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised (resurrected) incorruptible (with immortal bodies), and we shall be changed. For this corruptible (our mortal, decaying bodies) must put on incorruption, and this mortal (body) must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (Parentheticals added for clarity)

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne (YHWH or God), and from the wrath of the Lamb (Yahushua or Christ): For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:12-17

All three of these passages add further color, details and context to the passage of Matthew 24:29-31. They all describe the same prophesied event. So let’s now pull all of these passages together to discover what the Bible is telling us we can expect in the coming days.

Matthew 24:29 tells us that immediately after the end of the days of the great tribulation, meaning immediately after October 2, 2016, the four celestial events described in Matthew 24:29 and Revelation 6:12-14 would occur. What does the term “immediately after” mean to God?  Does it mean the next day, on October 3, 2016? Or could it mean several months or even several years later? And will it be just one of the four signs in the heavens that we shall witness, or all four at once? The simple answer and truth is that the Bible is silent on these points, so we just don’t know. This places all of us just where God wants us: fully dependent upon and trusting in Him and Him alone. We must not add to God’s words, or we too would be found liars, and we certainly don’t want that, now do we?

2 Peter 3:8 tells us in no uncertain terms that our infinite and eternal God has an entirely different perspective on time than we puny humans do:

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord (YHWH) as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

So from God’s eternal and infinite perspective, several months’ or years’ lag lag between the end of the great tribulation and the manifestation of the four celestial events described in Matthew 24:29 could easily be viewed as immediately after those days. Thus, until we witness at least one of the four celestial events of Matthew 24:29, we can be expectant and hopeful of the second coming of Christ to gather the elect in the very near future. Once these four celestial events are manifested, we can be confident that the second coming of Christ to gather the elect to Himself will happen with hair-splitting accuracy close on their heels. Once that happens, those of us of the elect will have every reason to shout, rejoice, dance and sing at the second coming of our Lord, Yahushua. But to do so before the all four of these celestial signs occur would be a bit premature, in my opinion.

What exactly do the words that describe the four celestial events of Matthew 24:29 really mean? I think there is room for considerable confusion on this point too. What does it mean when the sun goes dark and the moon does not give off its light? Are these merely a metaphor for a solar eclipse in which the moon, in its new moon (dark) phase covers or blocks out the light of the sun momentarily? Or is it signifying something much greater? We cannot be absolutely certain, but I think it may signify something very dramatic and unusual – not at all like anything anyone has ever witnessed in our lifetimes. Remember: these events will be witnessed the world over. Eclipses only affect specific regions of the world when they occur. Moreover, many of us now know that the earth is flat and stationary, and not a moving sphere, with the sun and the moon rotating above our flat earth in a clockwise direction, when viewed from above. Given this adjusted understanding of objective reality, when coupled with this prophecy, it appears that God may literally plan to turn off the light of the sun and the moon for a period of time, in fulfillment of this prophecy. But keep in mind that I am conjecturing here on what the words of Scripture say and may mean.

What do stars falling from heaven look like? Is this a mere meteor shower like those many of us have witnessed at night? When God acts and reveals Himself to mankind, He always does so in a dramatic fashion in order to bring glory to Himself. Revelation 6:13 likens the falling stars to untimely figs falling from a fig tree in a strong and unseasonal wind. Psalm 19 describes a firmament or dome of some sort that covers and is attached to our earth, within which the sun and the moon rotate. The stars never seem to move out of place relative to one another. The constellations always remain the same. From what research I have been able to conduct on the internet on this subject, it appears that the stars are metallic glowing orbs of some sort that are attached to the inside of the firmament (or tabernacle or tent as Psalm 19:4 refers to it). I have even seen a few photos on the internet of fig-shaped metallic globes that are roughly 3 feet in diameter with stems on them. Was I seeing a photo of a fallen star? Or was it all simply a con job? I honestly don’t know. But I highly suspect that what we know as stars are metallic glowing objects of some sort that are attached to the inside of the dome or firmament over our heads.

The final celestial event is described in Matthew 24:29 as “the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.” Notice, this is not saying that there shall be a global earthquake, even though Revelation 6:12 does make reference to a great earthquake occurring when the sixth seal is opened in heaven. But Revelation 6:14 describes heaven departing as a scroll being rolled up. Is what is described here as heaven the firmament or dome over the earth that is heavily shaken, and when it is, does this result in the stars attached to its interior falling to earth? That is precisely what I am guessing is being described in these verses.

Yet another possibility is that when the Bible describes the heavens being shaken, it may refer to an event in the heavenly or spiritual realm which we may not witness. Similarly, stars falling from heaven may refer to angels (or demons) falling to earth, inasmuch as the Bible repeatedly employs the word “stars” elsewhere to refer to angelic spirits or fallen angels (demons).

Thus, I am now concluding that the four celestial events described in Matthew 24:29 and Revelation 6:12-14, which describe the same series of events in slightly different terms, will be very dramatic and quite unmistakable. It is entirely possible, and in fact I consider it likely, that the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 may be a part of the fulfillment of the prophecy of Matthew 24:29.

From Revelation 6:15-17, we have the prophecy of what the world’s elites will do when they witness these things: they will go hide in their Deep Underground Military Bases, or DUMBs, numbering roughly 250 such underground cities in the U.S. and roughly 2,000 of them worldwide as they hide from the wrath of the Lamb of God (Christ) who will be returning right after these four celestial events occur. So now we can deduce that all the saber-rattling of the U.S., NATO and Israel directed at Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and Syria is all just a massive cover-up for what they know to be the imminent second coming of Christ and their plans to go hide in their underground bunkers from Him and His fierce wrath directed at them for what they have done that is so wicked.

Matthew 24:30 begins by describing a sign of the Son of man in heaven which heralds the second coming of Christ. The Bible is silent on exactly what this sign will consist of. However I think it is safe to conclude that it will be a clear and unmistakable sign that is visible to all of the world’s inhabitants. Think something along the lines of the star of Bethlehem which announced the first coming of Christ for what this might look like.

Many people on the internet and social media are looking forward to a celestial event forecasted for September 23, 2017 in which the wandering star Jupiter is expected to pass through the constellation Virgo. These same pundits are associating this event with the literal fulfillment of the prophecy of Revelation 12:1-2 and anticipating that as a result of this linkage this may be the date of Christ’s second coming. For several reasons, I believe they are seriously mistaken.

First, Jupiter passing in front of the constellation Virgo is not nearly dramatic enough to constitute the sign in heaven heralding the second coming of Christ. Few people know where the constellation Virgo is located in the night sky and few people would know what to look for in terms of Jupiter’s path in front of this constellation.

Second, the prophecy of Revelation 12:1-2 must not be read in isolation from verses 3-10 which follow these first two verses of Chapter 12. When we do so, those of us of the born again elect, who are of the truth, can clearly see that Revelation Chapter 12 is a flashback to the entire story of the nation of spiritual Israel making war with the devil (the dragon) and one third of the angels who rebelled against God and who were cast out of heaven and became demons on earth. In short, Revelation 12:1-2 is not describing an event of occult astrology, but is part of an allegory that tells the story of man’s cosmic struggle against the dark forces of the devil for thousands of years.

A far more likely timing for the appearance of the sign of the Son of man in heaven would be either on September 21-22, the Feast of Trumpets, or on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which occurs from sundown on Friday September 29 to sundown on Saturday September 30, 2017, because these days commemorate two of the high holy days of the Hebrew calendar of ancient Israel. Just as Christ was crucified on Passover in 31 B.C. and the Holy Spirit appeared on the Day of Pentecost 50 days later, in accordance with the Hebrew calendar of feasts and holy days, it would seem quite likely that the events leading up to Christ’s second coming might occur on the fall feast celebrations as well.

This sign of the Son of man in heaven heralds or announces the imminent second coming of Christ which will occur shortly thereafter, but with some time delay. Signs of a coming event seldom occur at the same time as the event that it heralds in Bible prophecy. For this reason, I am making the educated guess that Christ’s second coming described in Matthew 24:30-31 may occur on October 5, 2017, the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles this year. Having said this, no man knows the day or the hour of Christ’s second coming and I am no exception to this. See Chapter 7 for why I arrive at this as my best educated guess.

Matthew 24:30-31 goes on to describe the first appearance of Christ in His second coming in which He will appear in the clouds with power and great glory and summon the elect, first the dead, and then those of us who still are living, in resurrected or transformed bodies that are immortal, just like Christ’s resurrected body, to join Him and each other in the clouds, much the way Christ was taken up into a cloud and disappeared as is described in Acts 1:9:

“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 describe the different aspects of what will happen to those who have already died in Christ, compared to those who remain alive when Christ returns to fulfill this prophecy and gather all the elect to Himself in the clouds.

Immediately after this gathering event, we shift to the prophecy of Revelation 7:9-17, followed by that of 19:7-9, all of which will occur in heaven and not be visible to the non-elect earth dwellers who will be left behind in the gathering to Christ. There will be many professing Christians who will find themselves among this latter group of people left behind in the gathering because they are self-deceived or knowing frauds and impostors who did not do the will of the Father (YHWH or God) as Matthew 7:21-23 clearly predicts and explains:

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord (Adonai, Adonai), shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord (Adonai, Adonai), have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils (demons)? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Boldface added for emphasis; parenthetical added for clarity)

Every last person trapped in the cults of all forms of organized religion who play church and commit endless fraud and con jobs will number among the people described by this teaching and prophecy of Yahushua.

What we know from the application of the prophecy of Daniel 12:12 to the start date of the great tribulation on March 22, 2013, is that 1,335 days from this date, we arrived at the blessing date of Daniel 12:12 and Revelation 19:9, which was November 16, 2016, calculated as March 22, 2013 + 1,335 days (from Daniel 12:12) = November 16, 2016. This is the same date referred to in Revelation 19:9:

“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God (Eloah).”

We know that this prophesied event anticipates the future marriage supper of the Lamb (Yahushua) in which Yahushua, the bridegroom, is married (joined in unity to) His bride, the church or community of true born again elect believers in Christ for the past 6,000 years in heaven. Before this celebration in heaven can occur, the elect must be resurrected and gathered to Christ in the clouds of heaven, by simple logical deduction.

The Treading of the Fierceness and Wrath of Almighty God upon the Wicked Who Remain Left Behind

Once the celebrations of the marriage supper of the Lamb are concluded in Revelation 19:7-8, in which the elect from the last 6,000 years are joined to be together with Christ forever, God plans to deal with the wicked of this earth who are left behind and not gathered to be with Christ in the clouds as God’s set-apart elect ones.

All false teaching pastors are fond of lying and telling their flocks of non-elect spiritual goats that God unconditionally loves everybody, no matter how heinous their sins, and that all they have to do is exercise their own “free will” and confess and repent for their sins and accept Christ as their Lord and savior. That’s the lie they tell to deceive many. Their con job works to fill church seats with spiritually dead people and to fill their offering plates with tithes and offerings. But it does nothing to save anyone because the lie simply is not true. Their lies overtly contradict what the Bible clearly says and means in many places, that these charlatans and con artists never teach from, because if they did, it would blow their cover and their con jobs to smithereens!

The simple truth is that God does not love everybody. God plays favorites on His terms, not on man’s terms. Nowhere is this explained more forcefully and clearly than in Romans 9:11-24. It explains there that God created two classes of people before the world began: the elect and the non-elect.  Romans 9:21-23 refers to these two groups as His vessels of honor fitted unto His mercy (the righteous) and His vessels of dishonor (the wicked) fitted unto His wrath and eventual destruction. The Bible explains that God does this to make known the riches of His glory on his vessels of mercy (the elect), which He has predestined before the world began so that He would one day enjoy untold glory and honor for it (see Romans 9:23).

God has created many more of the wicked than of the righteous in order to test, refine and chasten those of us of His elect in order to grow our faith (trust) in Him and Him alone so that He might enjoy the love, respect, honor and glory He seeks from His chosen ones. God uses the wicked to bring us affliction, persecution, opposition and suffering so that we might grow to come to have the character of His son, Yahushua, over our remaining lifetimes of living faithfully in accordance with His will.

God created the non-elect, the wicked, to be at enmity with Him and with his fellow man, especially with the righteous, from the moment they are born. Here is how three verses explain the evil and utter depravity of the wicked, the non-elect:

The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; Which will not hearken to the voice of (snake) charmers, charming never so wisely.” Psalm 58:3 (Boldface added for emphasis; parenthetical added for clarity)

“God (Elohim) judgeth the righteous, and God (El) is angry with the wicked every day.” Psalm 7:11 (Boldface added for emphasis)

“The LORD (YHWH) hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” Proverbs 16:4 (Boldface added for emphasis)

So God’s plan from the beginning was to bring an end to sin, wickedness and evil eventually. That day has now nearly arrived. The entirety of God’s word teaches this truth relentlessly, over and over again. And the wicked want nothing to do with it, because deep in their souls, they know that they deserve punishment and will one day receive precisely what their cruelty, deceit, betrayal and hatred for God and for their fellow man deserves: eternal torment in the burning lake of fire and brimstone. Eternal means forever and without end. It is a horror beyond imagining. And yet, over 99% of humanity alive on the planet today is totally incapable of anything other than rebellion against and hatred toward God and all that He embodies in His amazing grace and good character.

In return, God wants nothing to do with any wicked or foolish person. He simply will not tolerate being in such a person’s presence. And so, very soon, God plans to put an end to their wickedness and evil forever. They served their useful purpose for a time, but that time is now nearly over and Satan and all his demonic hoard know it and tremble in terror and torment at what they know is soon to fall upon them: the fierceness and wrath of almighty God.

So in Revelation 19:11-16, after the conclusion of the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven, we can see what will come upon the wicked in summary form. In a nutshell, using allegorical language, Christ will return riding on a white horse, with His robe dipped in blood, to judge and make war upon the wicked who will be left behind on this earth from the gathering. He will be followed by those of us of His resurrected saints who will be clothed in fine white clean linen, signifying our righteousness and riding white horses also. Verse 15 tells us that He will tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty God (upon all those left behind in the gathering).

The specifics of what this treading the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty God upon the wicked looks like is laid out for us in much greater detail in Chapters 8-9 and 14-15 in the Book of Revelation as the seven trumpet judgments, followed by the seven vial judgments are poured out upon the inhabitants of the earth. Life as we have known it on earth will have ended forever. I teach and unpack the entirety of what the Book of Revelation says and means in Chapter 10 of my first book, for anyone who wishes to understand what the plagues that God intends to pour out upon the wicked are going to consist of. We know from a couple of passages that these plagues will last for a minimum duration of 18 months and quite likely for quite a bit longer than that, since only two of the plagues will last five months and 13 months, respectively (described in Revelation 9:5 and 9:15).

In the end, all the wicked will be killed and then there will be a second resurrection of the dead of all those of the non-elect throughout the last 6,000 years to face the great white throne judgment described in Revelation 20:11-15, in which all the wicked will be judged for their works, for which all will be found guilty. And so, because they refused to believe and trust in Christ and have His righteousness imputed to them, they will all be thrown into eternal torment in the burning lake of fire and brimstone.

Then this earth shall pass away, we are told in Revelation 21:1, and a new heaven and a new earth will replace it where God’s resurrected elect shall live with God, Christ and with each other in harmony and peace without pain, suffering and lies ever again for all eternity. It turns out that all of us are immortal after all. Imagine that.
