A Quiet River by Darl Dinger

There is a river
it flows from God’s throne
there is food by this river
that the redeemed call home.

They can see this river
from their mansions above
this crystal clear river
is part of God’s love.

There are trees by the river
bearing fruit evermore
it is for God’s chosen people
and not those of the worldly whore.

We can bask in the sunlight
or we can rest in the shade
thanking God for His goodness
and all of the things that He has made.

Jesus is our shepherd
as He looks on with love
no remembrance of the past
thanking the Father above.

Jesus paid the price
so that none would be lost
because of His Father’s love
He willingly endured the cross.

Listen! by Darl Dinger

Look up, now listen,
can you not hear
the singing of angels?
They know the time is near.

There is so much excitement
in heaven these days
They look to Jesus taking His bride
singing to Him heavenly praise.

Listen and you can hear
such a heavenly sound
soon the shouting of angels
as His saints leave the ground.

They are laughing and singing
as to Jesus they give praise
they have waited so very long
for these final days.

Yes, My children
it won’t be very long
until you will be singing
a new heavenly song.

Now there are many scoffers
even mockers to put you down
but keep on witnessing for Me
for I have your heavenly crown.

Be not dismayed
in all that you see
for it is I, Jesus Christ
who controls your destiny.

There will be hard times
so much destruction and more
I have chosen many to see
the destruction of the worldly whore.

Great will be their reward
as they do their work and more
My Holy Spirit will be with them
as they witness against the whore.

Yes, I am the good shepherd
of this have no doubt
keep on witnessing for Me
for I want no one left out.

Quiet, listen now
can you not hear?
The singing of angels
as your time draws near.

My peace I give you
yes, My comfort I leave
through all that I have chosen
yes, for all those who believe.

Tears by Darl Dinger

Lonely are the tears
of all of those lost
because you didn’t witness
that Jesus paid the cost.

All of those lost souls
both of woman and man
because of lying preachers
who would not take a stand.

They stand in their pulpits
week after endless week
spewing out worldly garbage
never allowing My Holy Spirit to speak.

Yes, I am a God of love
but of judgment too.
When you stand before Me
then what will you do?

A cloud of witnesses
are watching from above
praying that someone will witness
to those that they love.

Wake up, My people,
time is far spent.
Witness to all the lost;
tell of the message that I have sent.

You don’t know the date
of when I will return.
Keep on witnessing to the lost
and all that you have learned.

Your tears will be many
if you hesitate
when you see those souls you neglected
and of their terrible fate.

I can hear your hearts cry,
“Jesus, when will you return?”
|Keep witnessing to the lost
for you have much to learn.

Like My chosen disciples,
they had much of Me to learn.
But I would have no soul lost;
that is why I delay My return.

Just look for the goodness
in all that you see
tell them of the Father’s love
and that you believe in Me.

I know that you long
for My quick return
but I, Jesus Christ
would have no soul eternally burn.

You are My watchmen,
I chose you from birth
keep doing the job I gave you
while I keep you on earth.

I know you are weary,
I know of your rejection too
but your reward is great
I know I can depend upon you.

So keep sounding the alarm
that is why I called upon you.
I put My word in your heart
it is leading; telling you what to do.

Yes, I know you are weary
meeting rejection every day
I know that you will stand
showing the lost the right way.

But I would have you know
that it will not be very long
until I, Jesus Christ, return
and you will be singing heavenly songs.

Yes, look up, My watchmen
for your work is almost done
then you will finally know
that the battle was truly won.
